Today is the vigil of St. Andrew, Ap, under the 1954 (simple) rubrics.

Mass: Proper Mass. Violet. Omit Gloria. Gradual with neither Alleluia nor Tract. Omit Credo. Common Preface. Celebrant bows his head at the mention of St. Andrew in the Canon. Benedicamus. Commemoration of St. Saturninus, M. 3rd prayer Concede nos of Our Lady.

Private (low) votive Masses/daily Requiems are prohibited today under the 1954 rubrics.  

Office: Ferial office. Violet. Matins of 1 nocturn of 3 lessons (3 proper lessons for the vigil with responsories of the occurring feria). Omit Te Deum. Psalms and antiphons of the feria (Lauds = schema II). All else from the feria. Preces at Lauds and the hours. Proper collect. Commemoration of St. Saturninus at Lauds. Suffrage of the saints at Lauds. At Prime, add displaced psalm 98.

Grant, we beseech thee, O Almighty God, that thy blessed Apostle Andrew, on the Eve of whose Feast we now are, may entreat for us the healthful succour of thy mercy, that we, being delivered from all guiltiness, may likewise be delivered from all dangers.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
