Private (low) votive Masses/daily Requiems are not permitted today under the 1954 rubrics.

But I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and have appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
