℟. And with thy spirit.
Let us pray.
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who wondrously revealed the unsearchable riches of Your Heart to blessed Margaret Mary, the Virgin, grant us, by her merits and through imitating her, to love You in all things and above all things, so that we may be found worthy to possess a lasting dwelling place in Your Heart itself.
Who livest and reignest with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end.
℟. Amen

From the Holy Gospel according to Matthew
Matt 11:25-30
At that time: Jesus answered and said: I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. And so on, and that which followeth.

Homily of St. Francis de Sales, Bishop
Sermo 23 in die Pentecostes alter, circa medium
There is no other true knowledge given but that which is given by the Holy Ghost. And this is granted to the humble only. Have we not known great theologians who spake marvellously of the virtues but did not practice them? Have we not seen, on the contrary, many women who did not know how to discourse on the virtues, practice the works of virtue worthily? The Holy Spirit hath made these wise because they had fear of the Lord, piety and humility.

Post Communion
P. The Lord be with you.
S. And with thy spirit.
Let us pray.
Having received the sacrament of Your Body and Blood, we beseech You, O Lord Jesus, grant us by the intercession of blessed Margaret Mary, the Virgin, that, stripping ourselves of worldly vanities, we may be found worthy to put on the meekness and humility of Your Heart.
Who livest and reignest with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end.
℟. Amen
