Third Sunday of Lent: From shame to trusting Faith in examination of conscience

Is this the picture of superficiality? Does this look like Someone who is satisfied with a superficial response? Don't you think He can handle your shame? The Samaritan woman met the Water of Life at the well who read her conscience and transformed the source of her shame in sin into reason for trust and saving faith in Him. "... whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst; the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” This truly is the Savior of the world.Is this the picture of superficiality? Does this look like Someone who is satisfied with a superficial response? Don't you think He can handle your shame?
