Almighty, eternal God, You Who have given Your servants, in the confession of the true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of that majesty to adore its unity, grant, we beseech You, that in the firmness of this faith we may ever be protected from all harm.

Pro Sunday
O God, the Strength of all them that put their trust in thee, mercifully accept our prayers, and because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without thee, grant us the help of thy grace, that in keeping of thy commandments we may please thee, both in will and deed.
Commemoration Sts. Vitus, Modestus and Crescentia, Martyrs
Grant O Lord, we pray, that through the intercession of thy Holy Martyrs Vitus, Modestus and Crescentia, thy Church be not high-minded, but grow in that humility which is pleasing to thee, so that despising evil, she may practice whatever is good with unbounded charity
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
℟. Amen.
Matt 28:18-20
At that time, Jesus said unto His disciples: All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. And so on.
Homily by St. Gregory of Nazianzus, Patriarch of Constantinople
Treatise on the Faith
There is no Catholic but knoweth that the Father is a Very Father, the Son a Very Son, and the Holy Ghost a Very Holy Ghost, even as the Lord Himself saith unto His Apostles: “Go ye and baptize all nations in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” This is that Perfect Trinity Who is but One being, and of Whom therefore we testify that His Substance is one. For we make no division in God, as divisions are made in bodies, but we testify, that, according to the power of the Divine Nature, Which standeth not in matter, the Persons named have a real existence, and that God is One.
P. The Lord be with you.
S. And with thy spirit.
Let us pray.
May the reception of this sacrament, O Lord our God, and the profession of our faith in the eternal holy Trinity and undivided Unity, benefit us for the salvation of body and soul.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
℟. Amen.
Let us pray.
For Sunday
Filled, O Lord, as we are with so great bounties, we beseech thee; that we may receive the gifts of salvation, and never cease from thy praise.
Commemoration Sts. Vitus, Modestus and Crescentia, Martyrs
We, who have been filled with thy solemn blessing, ask, O Lord, that, through the intercession of thy holy Martyrs Vitus, Modestus and Crescentia, this healing sacrament may benefit both our bodies and our souls.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
℟. Amen.
